This session runs on a monthly basis, whereby small groups of Jews, Christians, Muslims, and people of other faiths and beliefs, gather to read and reflect on short passages from their scriptures together.
Its goals are for participants to understand one another’s differences, learn more about the scriptures of other faith communities as well as their own, and to nurture friendships between members of different faith communities.
Currently, Scriptural Reasoning sessions are being facilitated by Dhaniah Wijaya, Paulo Caperig and Andrew Cheong. Training was provided with the advice of faculty at Cambridge University's intensive training programme for emerging interfaith leaders.
